Glacier swam like an arrow through the Fissure River. Then in one smooth movement the big brawny otter whooshed out of the river and landed gracefully head over tail on the bank. "Phew, nothin' so refreshin' as a swim in the good ol' Fissure River. Still ever since those furries came along and started stealin' our fish." He gave himself a shake spraying water ever which way. Then after a good groom drying up his fur he suddenly decided just lay down on his back in the dew covered grass.

The water stirred a tiny bit, but it was barely noticeable. River swan towards the shore, knowing someone was there. She swam backwards, so her feet were touching the bottom of the river. Then, she sprang up, and made a huge splash, as she fell back in. She then swam towards the shore, and she laughed. ''I got you!'' she said, laughing.

Glacier jumped up barely dodging the wave of water, he stumbled back shaking his fur. "Hoy there shipmate, ya didn't have to go and get me all wet again!" he laughed rolling over in the grass

Shore stumbled over a hill and into the water.When her head surfaced she shook it.The flower in her hair was slipping, but she caught it and put it back up."Hey there.How're you guys doing?"Shore dipped back down and when she surfaced this time, she had an oyster in her paws.She opened it up and stuffed her face into the soft body."Yummy."she barked.

"Hey! How'dya do shipmate?" Glacier's barked clapping Shore on the back (without knocking her flower off). "You might wanna save some of yer prey to bring back to camp." he pointed out. It was ironic because if fish wasn't eaten the day it was caught it reeked up the whole camp. He was about to say something else when another smaller otter whooshed out of the water and practically landed on top of him. "Uncle Glacier!" Waterwing yelled happily crushing the bigger otter to the ground. Glacier flipped her off and patted her on the head, "Good for you Waterwing, you finally mastered that run." he praised
OOC:Glacier isn't Waterwing's biological uncle

Shore nodded."Yeah.I'll catch some stuff.Anyways you seen what that one loner did to two of them Shadeclanners.I was swimming around and I heard cats screeching.I could tel lit was a loner cause no clan cat could be that small and no Shadeclan cat could be that small either when I looked up, the loner had the tom's tail pinned under a rock and made him watch her kill hs mate.There were already two dead cats laying on the ground.Then she turned and said something to the tom and leaped on him.The loner left all four dead cats and walked off.Then I heard another screech by a cat, though it was cut short.I never though it would happen but, I'm sick of all this fighting and I want to rip every one of them cat's pelt off."she barked as she finished.

"Well if you want to rip all the furrie's pelts off then your definetly not sick of fighting." Glacier rebuked sharply. Meanwhile Waterwing was whooshing in and out of the water, then she poked her head over the bank and dropped something round and shiny on to the grass. "Hey, whats this thing?"
OOC:Otters have terminology too, they call cats 'furries'

River looked at the shiny thing. ''I don't know...'' she barked, staring at it. ''Do you guys no what it is? Glacier? Shore?'' she asked, looking at each of them in turn.

Glacier nosed hit carefully, then poked it with his paw. "It's called plastic, it's some kind of human garbage. Don't eat it though, it's dangerous." he answered then his voice turned angrier, "Those humans! Poisoning our river like this is their world!" he barked. Waterwing jumped and shrunk down

River shook her in disapproval. ''I don't know why they don't put it someplace else! It's not like we leave clam-shells all over their homes!''

Glacier bared his teeth, "Just makes me wish that they were as easy to kill as one of their dogs!" he snarled. While Glacier was furiously stating his malicious idea Waterwing poked her muzzle into the plastic thing and pulled out some netting. "Hey Uncle Glacier, is this the net stuff you told me about?" she pointed to the raw scar on Glacier's side

River looked at the net, and smelled it. ''Yuck! It smells just like the humans! Blech!'' She said, pretending to die form the smell.

Glacier narrowed his eyes, "This is no laughing matter River, those things can choke you to death. And if they don't they can really hurt you, trust me I know." He lightly whacked her in the side with his tail. Waterwing meanwhile had dove underwater again and was poking around trying to find some more human stuff

Glacier sighed, "You Slingers, I wonder if I was as crazy as you when I was your age." he muttered. "Anyway, is anyone hungry? I was gonna eat this fish but...I'm not in the mood anymore." he patted a trout
