The Mask's smile broadened, "You know, you kinda remind me of myself for a while. But your right, none of us are needed in life. If we all die the world will keep on moving like nothing has ever happened. But yet we're here, whether life needs us or not. So we might as well live and see what comes out of it."

"It's nothing special I'd suppose, after all we're all made out of the same decaying organic material as everything else in the world. Perhaps the only thing that make's it worth living is variety. There's too many things for me to explain, but telling little things can spur imagination. Like the tree we're standing by, it's a rowan tree. It has pale bark with black markings on it and the leaves form an umbrella shape in some and in others form a circular shape." The Mask noted. "But as for what you want, to see. I can sort of understand that. Maybe you think that seeing is our only way of looking out of ourselves and into the outside world, maybe. But too many things are judged on how they look for my liking."

River Blossom sighed.She closed her eyes and tried to remember her family.She couldn't recall what they looked like, well, because she never knew, but she remembered their scent and how they always acted.She let herslef remember it all flooding back into her memories.

Then River Blossom looked up."They never pityed me for my blindness.I felt like I could see when I was around them.They weren't really my related family, my other family hated me and that I couldn't see.Then my true family took me in.They cared."

The Mask smiled again, a sort of meaningless fake smile that was just fashioned for the heck of it. "I've never really saw the value in family, I've always lived alone. Maybe that's just the kind of person I am."

River Blossom nodded.She took her head up and fashioned it as if she was looking at the stars.A feeling chilled her spine and she could see Thaila, her real sister scowling at her.River Blossom frowned and her sightless eyes were supposed to bef ull of anger and hatred, but they had the same sightless motion."Family will always betray you.Youu can't even trust your own,"River Blossom stopped.She stood herself up again.
